English Graduate Teaching Assistant
This highly regarded English department is searching for a highly ambitious and energetic English graduate to join their team as an English Graduate teaching assistant. The successful candidate for this English Graduate Teaching Assistant position, will have received a 2:1 or higher in their degree and will have a strong academic background with good A-level results. You must have a desire to pursue a career in teaching and be passionate about inspiring the next generation.
As an English Graduate Teaching Assistant you will be required to support students doing their GCSEs and A-levels. You will work with students with a range of abilities but will be working primarily with students on the critical C/D borderline who need extra support to gain their C grade at GCSE. You will be working closely alongside the 'outstanding' English teachers within the department, who will provide you with support throughout your time at the school, and as an English Graduate teaching assistant you will pick up skills you will use throughout your teaching career.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
