Early Years Teacher

Teaching Personnel are working with a primary school in Scarborough to recruit Early Years teachers. The school work to ensure a secure, inclusive and caring environment where everyone is valued and respected. Outdoor learning and community spirit is at the heart of the school and they encourage outdoor teaching experiences.

Those who apply will be need to be prepared to undertake short term, day to day supply, with the opportunity to undertake longer term work when the need arises. As a supply teacher, you should also be prepared to deliver a lesson from someone's planning. You should be confident in working in a variety of local schools and be able to differentiate your teaching style to match the needs of all pupils.

The successful candidate will have experience of working and teaching in the Early Years and have experience of phonics. You must be confident to provide support in a variety of school environments and effectively differentiate your teaching style.

Desirable attributes; experience of working with EAL SEN pupils and Challenging Behaviour. Outdoor or Forest Schools training.
