Drama Teacher
Join a vibrant secondary academy committed to ensuring a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students. This role is ideal for any experienced or Newly Qualified Teachers looking to secure a long term teaching role from April 2020.
Highlights of this Drama teacher position;
- Full time role commencing April 2020 – earlier if possible
- Salary to reflect MPS/UPS GBP24,373 - GBP40,490
- Delivering KS3 and KS4 Drama with the opportunity to also deliver KS3 English

The successful Drama teacher will join this popular secondary academy following the Easter break and will take responsibility of planning, preparing and delivering engaging Drama lessons across key stage 3 and 4. They will join a dedicated Performing Arts department and will contribute towards practical and theoretical lessons across the age range. Experience in delivering BTEC Drama and KS3 English is also desirable for this position.
We are looking for a professional practitioner with experience of delivering their specialism up to GCSE level. The ability to have a strong classroom presence is essential as is a genuine desire to help students achieve the best possible outcomes.
This large successful secondary school is a culturally diverse 11 – 16 mixed gender secondary school located in the East area of Manchester. Located just a short drive from the city centre, the school is easily accessible by public transport links from the city centre and surrounding areas of Stockport and Tameside.
