Key Responsibilities:

As a Drama supply teacher, your duties may include:

• Delivering dynamic and engaging Drama lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential opportunities for KS5

• Encouraging creativity, expression, and confidence through performance and practical work

• Managing classroom behaviour and fostering a supportive, inclusive environment

• Preparing or delivering set lesson plans, depending on the role

• Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback (in long-term placements)

• Supporting extracurricular drama clubs or school productions where applicable

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification

• Experience teaching Drama in a secondary school setting

• Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities

• Strong classroom management skills and a flexible, professional attitude

• Enhanced Child Workforce DBS (can be arranged through Teaching Personnel)
