An opportunity to work on a flexible basis supporting secondary schools across North Manchester with staff absences.

  • Flexible Cover Teacher required
  • Control own working schedule (full time or part time options)
  • Access to award winning CPD academy to continue professional development
  • Earn up to GBP120 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)
  • Supporting a number of secondary schools across North Manchester
  • Daily, short term and long term assignments available

As a Cover Teacher working for Teaching Personnel, successful candidates can expect to gain regular, flexible work that is tailored around their availability and within secondary schools that within their locality. This role is suitable for both NQTs and experienced teachers, but it is essential that prospective candidates have recent experience of teaching 11-18 year olds in a secondary or further educational setting.

In addition to the flexible supply teaching positions that will be completed through Teaching personnel, opportunities for long or fixed term teaching positions will also arise throughout the academic year.

To be considered for the position of supply teacher at Teaching Personnel, prospective candidates will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or have recent experience of teaching 11-18 year olds
  • Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of Cover Teachers
  • Have a passion for teaching with the ability to cover set lessons where the work is pre-planned

Teaching Personnel welcome applications from candidates who may not hold a teaching qualification and seeking to gain further experience in teaching and education.
