Cover Supervisor – Durham
Are you a graduate considering a career in Education but feel that you don’t have enough experience in this field? Maybe you haven’t made your mind up fully just yet and wish to gain a realistic impression of the requirements of a teaching role?
If so, the role of Cover Supervisor may be for you!
In this position, you will have the following responsibilities:
- Supporting pupils in small groups and on a 1:1 basis in lessons to ensure students are able to overcome obstacles to their learning and retain information effectively
- Covering lessons in the absence of the teacher, ensuring that students complete work pre-set for them
- Working in collaboration with teachers to produce a plan to provide sufficient support to students who are disadvantaged by their personal circumstances
- Invaluable experience for graduates who wish to pursue a career within schools, or working alongside young people

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
