Job Title: Future Teacher

Location: North West England, Greater Manchester, Longsight

Job Type: Temporary, expected to work Full-Time hours

Salary: £12.90 - £15.50 Per hour

About Teaching Personnel:

Teaching Personnel is looking for an aspiring teacher to join our team of cover supervisors and TAs to assist them in gaining their teaching experience before going on to their PGCE in September.

Job Duties:

  • Assist in delivering lessons under the supervision of a qualified teacher
  • Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment
  • Support students with their learning and development
  • Assist with administrative tasks related to teaching

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
  • Valid DBS check or willing to purchase one
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well in a team

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of educational principles and practises
  • Ability to adapt to different learning styles
  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Knowledge of safeguarding procedures

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PGCE or working towards obtaining one
  • Additional training in specific subject areas

Working Conditions:

  • Temporary position with Full-Time hours
  • Work in a school environment
  • Potential for long-term opportunities

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
