Our client school located in Salford seek to appoint a cover supervisor to support within school and cover lessons in the absence of teachers.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will hold a range of responsibilities including;

*Covering pre-set lessons in the absence of teachers

*Manage behavior and ensure tasks are completed

*Cover a range of classes in different subject areas

This is an excellent opportunity to work within a well established school where you will be a valued member within an excellent team of staff. To be considered for this position it is essential that you hold previous experience working with secondary schools, are a confident and approachable individual and are able to build strong rapport with pupils. You will ideally hold a degree and be looking to pursue a career within secondary education as a teacher.

The school is located in an extremely nice area of Worsley which is easily accessible from the surrounding areas, Manchester, Wigan, Bolton and Bury. The school was recently graded as ‘Good’ by Ofsted in 2013 and pupils were described to be respectable of their teachers and peers.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
