Cover supervisor Holbeach / Long Sutton

  • Earn up to £70 per day (experience dependant)
  • Full time position in a schools cover team
  • Suitable for graduates and aspiring teachers

Full time Cover supervisor position in Holbeach/Long Sutton, working within a secondary school in south Lincolnshire alongside the cover and teaching staff team on a full time basis, this is temporary initially but could become permanent.

Teaching Personnel are working on behalf of a secondary school in the South Lincolnshire area, due to a need in their ‘cover team’ they are seeking to hire a full time cover supervisor after the Easter holidays. This position will involve working with teaching staff, covering lessons where the work is set and also team teaching in larger groups. Previous experience as a cover supervisor is not essential but you will need to be confident leading full classes (Years 7-11) and able to think on your feet when covering subjects outside your comfort zone. If you are a future teacher with a great passion for working with children this cover supervisor position would be ideal for you, however the school are happy to consider applicants from any background providing you suit the cover supervisor role – this is a temporary supply position in the first instance with a view to becoming a school based contract.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
