Communication and Language support TA needed in Bury (BL8) primary school

Teaching Personnel are working closely with a school in the Bury (BL8) area that are looking for a teaching assistant to work in their Early Years department. T he school has identified gaps in speech and language development In the EYFS and are looking for an experienced teaching assistant to come in and support the teacher in raising attainment in the class.

The school has a large percentage of children on the SEN register and the children start school below the national average in terms of their learning development. Therefore the school requires a member of staff to work along the Literacy co-ordinator and SENCO to help implement strategies to raise attainment for children in EYFS with language difficulties.

The school is graded 'GOOD' by Ofsted and prides itself on the fantastic reputation it has built for the work it does with the community and the end of KS1 and 2 results. To apply for this role you must have experience working with children with specific language needs and have relevant qualifications for teaching and supporting children.
