Classroom Support-South Tyneside
Do you have an interest in working with young people? Do you possibly want to pursue a career dealing with the welfare of children or teaching? If so, we may have the role for you! Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting classroom support staff; many of our client schools in South Tyneside are increasingly in need of staff to provide small group and 1:1 assistance, particularly with students who struggle with their attainment and/or engagement. You do not require any formal qualifications to take on this role; however, graduates are strongly encouraged to apply.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to be paid to work with students, placing yourself in the best possible position to accelerate your career. When working with Teaching Personnel you can perform this role with the added confidence that our team aim to benefit your career on a basis that is suitable to your own circumstances. Particularly if you are an individual with limited experience, you will find this role is of great value, as it entails supervising a class with pre-set work, with the full support of teaching staff.
OVERVIEW
- Full-time and part-time roles available
- Graduates preferred, but other candidates will be considered
- Supporting pupils in small groups and on a 1:1 basis in lessons
- Covering lessons with pre-set work in the absence of the class teacher
- Working directly alongside the other teachers to develop activities
- Gain invaluable experience prior to starting PGCE
- Opportunity to earn £55 - 70 per day
