Classroom Support Assistant - Wakefield

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for KS2 & 3 Behaviour Support Assistants to work with students at a specialist Pupil Referral Unit in Wakefield. The school caters to young adults with Social, Emotional and Mental Health issues, attachment disorder and from disadvantaged and Looked After backgrounds. The role is based in Wakefield across WF1 and WF", all sites are easily accessible by public transport. The role is full time with the opportunity to go permanent.

The right candidate will have Team Teach, MAPA or the equivalent deescalation qualification and they will be open minded and non-judgemental towards students need extra support and empathy.

We are looking for someone:

• With a strong and resilient personality in what can be a very challenging role
• Who has the passion and desire to have a positive impact on a pupil with behavioural and emotional needs
• Who is able to work with a pupil 1:1 or in a group setting
