About the Role:
As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students aged 6–19 with a range of complex learning difficulties and disabilities. Working within a collaborative school environment, your primary focus will be on promoting independence, dignity, and high-quality care for students during the school day.
This is a full-time position with the potential to become permanent, offering a rewarding opportunity to develop within a supportive and well-resourced setting.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide personal care and emotional support to students throughout the school day

Assist with daily routines, including mobility, feeding, and communication
-
Work closely with teaching and therapy staff to support learning and development
-
Promote a safe, nurturing environment where all students can thrive

Contribute to care planning and safeguarding procedures

Experience in a care or SEN setting is desirable but not essential – full training provided

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
