Business/ICT Teacher

A school in Bracknell is looking for an individual who is proficient in the delivery of both Business and ICT within a secondary school, across a wide range of ages and abilities. The role will focus on the delivery of the school’s curriculum. As this is a teaching role, the required applicant will be educated to degree level, and will hold QTS. Additionally, it is imperative that the individual is confident in managing behaviour, in line with the school’s policy.

Key aspects of this role include:

• Providing consistent feedback to parents, students, teaching staff and senior staff when necessary.
• Working to actively improve student attainment, as well as being able to deliver feedback on this to both subject leaders and senior leadership teams.
• Managing work set within lessons and ensuring that this work has been effectively differentiated to ensure that the needs of all students have been catered for.
• Offering consistency in the implementation of teaching strategies and ensuring that these methods allow pupils to fully engage with the topic.
• Working to ensure that every student can fully maximise their overall ability within the given subjects, as well as being able to offer alternative provision to those who require additional support and guidance. 
• Being able to display versatility across 2 subjects and being able to display strong interpersonal skills with regards to this.
• Being aware of Ofsted recommendations, and being able to work within these guidelines in order to obtain consistent improvement.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
