A Primary School in Burnley are looking for a spirited, passionate and dedicated Reception Teacher to start in September. They want to appoint someone who is eager to expand their experience working within EYFS. The role will be to primarily support the development of a group of 25 children in the Reception Class; improving attainment in language, communication skills, Maths and English. The school are looking for a candidate who has a broad understanding of the EYFS curriculum and who is secure undertaking baseline assessments with the children and can produce effective planning. Reception are in their own classroom during the AM session, but during the PM session, are combined with Nursery where they have access to the schools joint EYFS facilities.

The position is to start in September as current Class Teacher is going on maternity leave. The position is a temporary post but with the potential to become permanent member of staff else where in school. The Head Teacher has specified she wants an encouraging and positive practitioner with good behaviour management. The school is a small one form entry school which is recognised for its vibrant and friendly atmosphere. The Head Teacher has stated the school is an 'inviting and welcoming school with warm and friendly staff'.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £100-£130 per day

Monday to Friday (40 hours)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
