Behaviour Teaching Assistant Role Available

Job description

Here at Teaching Personnel we are looking to recruit a behaviour experienced teaching assistant to work at a client school based in Newport. The role requires candidates to work on a one to one basis, keeping the pupil engaged throughout their learning and keep them on track to meet their learning objectives of the day. The pupils at the school are of secondary age and may be diagnosed with autism or co-existing conditions including ADHD, learning difficulties, anxiety, Tourette's syndrome, epilepsy and or challenging behaviour. Staff are required to work between 8:30am - 3:30pm. Candidates pay will be based on experience starting at £54.00 and finishing at £60.00 a day. School experience is not essential as long as the right personality and confidence comes across from the candidate. You will benefit from on going support from teaching personnel throughout your time at the school.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
