Behaviour role required in Chorley

  • Negotiable rates of pay £50-62 per day

Are you a Support Assistant who is happy to work in a challenging setting?

If so, Teaching Personnel work closely with a Chorley based pupil referral unit which caters for pupils with SEMH difficulties, ADHD and behavioural difficulties. The School is based close to the M61 Chorley junction and is accessible via public transport. The School is smaller than average and is graded 'Outstanding' by Ofsted.

The role will require you to support pupils, mainly on a 1:1 basis and provide assistance to the Teacher and other Teaching Assistants in the class. The role is full time and more than likely to continue until or even beyond the summer holidays.

The candidate must be hard working, have a strong work ethic and have experience supporting pupils of a challenging nature. Ideally the candidate will have experience in an educational setting and/or have the Team Teach qualification - however, this is not essential. The candidate must have experience working with children who display difficult behaviours and be confident in their classroom management.
