Behaviour Support Worker

Job description

Teaching Personnel is looking to recruit a behaviour support worker for 1-to-1 mentoring in the Weston-Super-Mare and surrounding areas. The behaviour support worker role offers flexibility and a diversification within the job as 1-to-1 support can take place within the school, the community, or at the child's home.

Teaching Personnel is seeking an engaging and proactive behavioural support worker to work with primary children years 1-6. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous experience who is looking for an exciting and challenging role.

The perfect candidate should:

  • Understand a students emotional and behavioural needs and cater to them
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Passionate about making a difference in a rewarding role
  • Driving license with a car or access to a car
  • Patient
  • Reliable

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
