Behaviour Support Assistant

Job description

Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit a Behaviour Support Assistant for a school in Chorley.

The school is an alternative provision for children aged 7-16 who have been permanently excluded from education. Many children who attend school have social, emotional and mental health difficulties and display extremely challenging behaviours. The school will encompass nurture theory in order to help the children engage in their education in a safe and healthy way.

The role will include working 1:1 with a child who is in year 5 and supporting them throughout the school day in lessons and over lunch time. The role will include encouraging the child to engage with their education and facilitie their reintegration to education.

This role is 37.5 hours a week.

The pay for this role is GBP76 per day.

This role is starting ASAP.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
