Behaviour Support Assistant

Full-time Behaviour Support Worker.

Our client school located in Bury currently have a Behaviour Support vacancy for after the October half term break.

Due to an increase in pupils who display challenging behaviour this year, our partner school wishes to appoint an additional temporary behaviour support worker  for the remainder of the academic year (October 2019 – July 2020).

Behaviour Support Worker Overview:

• Full time Behaviour Support Worker opportunity.
• Supporting pupils with challenging behaviour aged 11-16 across all curriculum areas.
• Earn up to GBP1300 per month.

This Behaviour Support role is the ideal opportunity to gain further experience working within a Secondary school, fine tune your skill set working with secondary aged pupils and enhance your knowledge of pupils with challenging behaviour.

Within this role you will be required to deliver additional tuition across a range of subjects including Maths and English.

As a Behaviour Support Worker you will be assisting class teachers to positively impact the learning and development of students through a variety of responsibilities including;

• Leading small group tuition sessions to pupils not making expected progress.
• Supporting the learning of SEN pupils or those with challenging behaviour.
• Assisting in the delivery of full class lessons alongside teachers.
• Work 1:1 with pupils who struggle to engage within classes.

Our client school is located in Bury and is easily accessible via public transport from the town centre as well as other surrounding areas such as Bolton, Rochdale and Prestwich. The school is also accessible via the M61 for those with their own transport.
