Job description

Due an increased demand for Learning Support Assistants (LSA's) and Teaching Assistants (TA's) to work with pupils with challenging behaviour and Emotional Behavioural Difficulties we are currently seeking to recruit passionate individuals with experience working with young people in or out of a formal school setting.

A Behaviour Mentor works on a full time basis supporting student's behaviour and learning inside and outside of the class, this is primarily a class based position however it's very likely you will end up doing 1:1 withdrawal sessions at some stage in order to maintain the progress of student's behaviour and learning.

Desired backgrounds include Sports (coaching), Psychology, Youth Work, Art and Design and Music and training such as Team-teach Positive Intervention is desirable but can also be offered through our agency.

Our client schools span over Bridgend, Cardiff, RCT, Newport and The Vale of Glamorgan and require full time, long term commitment (term time only) and in turn offer supportive environments with continued professional development and the opportunity to go permanent in many instances.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
