Are you wishing to pursue a career working with children who display challenging behaviour? Do you have experience working with children and young people in educational or Youth Group settings?

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting on behalf of a two form entry primary school in the Rusholme area of Manchester, M14. Due to an increase in demand, this 'GOOD' primary school wishes to appoint a Behaviour Mentors to work with identified pupils starting in September.

The role of Behaviour Mentor will incorporate delivering short intervention strategies in meetings to improve behaviour whilst implementing the schools behaviour policy and monitoring progress. You will work directly with the schools SEN Co-ordinator and Inclusion Manager, alongside class teachers to ensure all pupils are able to access learning and display positive behaviour.

  • Prior experience working with children/young people with behaviour challenges is desirable
  • Earn up to £300 per week
  • Supporting students inside the classroom and in the Learning Resource Centre

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
