Job description

Teaching Personnel work closely with a Leyland based School which provides education and support for pupils with SEMH Difficulties, Autism, ADHD and ODD. The School is smaller than average and caters for pupils with a range of additional needs. The School are looking for a Teaching Assistant to support pupils with behavioural difficulties and special educational needs.

The role will be full time and it will ideally start after the Easter holidays. The candidate suited to this role must be hard working, enthusiastic, empathetic and enthusiastic. The candidate will be looking for a long term or permanent role as the position will likely continue for the foreseeable future.

The candidate must be available full time, be experienced in working with pupils who display challenging behaviours and be experienced in de-escalating difficult behaviours effectively. Ideally the candidate will hold their Team Teach qualification but this is not essential.

The successful candidate will benefit from:

- Negotiable pay rates £54 - 65 per day

- Long term position available
