Job description

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a school in West Derby, Liverpool seeking a behaviour specialist Teaching Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis supporting a pupil in year 7.

The role:

The role is to start on 4th September, ideally full time but part time hours may be considered for the right candidate, and will continue through until January 2019.

The successful candidate will support the educational and pastoral needs of a child in Year 7 displaying challenging behaviour and learning difficulties.

The ideal candidate:

You will be qualified to Level 2 or above and have experience supporting pupils with challenging behaviour or SEN on a 1:1 basis. You will be resilient, demonstrate excellent communication skills and work well as part of a team.

To be considered for this role you will:

  • Be able to evidence recent 'good' or 'outstanding' observation reports
  • Have recent experience of supporting within a school, which can be referenced
