Graduate Teaching Assistant of Psychology or similar
Ideal role for future teacher applicants
In the current climate, this Salford Primary school are looking to continue to improve the standard of education across the whole school. There has been a particular focus on SEN and inclusion with a new project set up by the school SENCO being the main focus of this. As a result, the Salford school are looking to add a Psychology graduate to their inclusion team to work as an SEN teaching assistant starting in January.
Ideally, the incoming teaching assistants will be enthusiastic graduates who are looking to make a career out of education/teaching. If you have a strong academic background and ideally have experience of working as a teaching assistant in a primary school previously or have experience of working with disadvantaged or SEN children. Psychology graduates with school or child based experience would be desirable however not essential. If you are looking to complete a PGCE or further your career into teaching, this would be a great opportunity for you.
