Job description

Teaching Personnel are currently looking to recruit a highly motivated, dynamic and enthusiastic full time Teaching Assistants on behalf of a Autism Specialist School in Ascot.

You will be working 1:1 with pupils with Autism and alongside a qualified teacher and teaching assistants.

You will work in small teams, ensuring the daily needs of our pupils are met in a professional, competent, safe and fun school environment.

You will need to be creative, energetic and committed to engaging a pupil whilst monitoring their progress.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about making a difference to children's lives by enabling them to learn, thrive and achieve.

Ideally you will have experience of working with children with special needs (Autism, ADHD and Behavioural Difficulties) and have good communication skills both written and verbal.

Full training will be provided, however enthusiasm, reliability, being a team player and a self starter are key skills required for the role.

The position is full time, term time only, 8.30-4.00 Monday to Friday.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
