Work 1-1 with Autistic young people

I am currently seeking to recruit people with a background in supporting young people on the Autistic Spectrum. I work in close partnership with a local college in Northampton who currently have around 120 pupils diagnosed with ASC (Autistic Spectrum Condition).

Teaching Personnel are the market leaders in educational recruitment and we look to recruit Teaching Assistants and 1-1 Learning Support Assistants to work closely with children with Autism and various other Special Educational Needs. If you have experience in teaching, or working with children with SEN then you could be just the person we're looking for.

No official qualifications are needed, as I'm looking to meet with people passionate about providing care and support to young people with SEN and behaviour issues. If you have previous experience or feel confident in at least 3 of the following then don’t hesitate to get in touch…

• Support/Care Work

• Special Education Needs Experience

• Sports coaching, qualifications or experience

• Mentoring/Tutoring

• Teaching/Learning Support Assistance

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
