Experienced SEN Support Assistant required for specialist school in Leeds
- Experience supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
- Happy to provide personal care
- Evidence of implementing Individual Care Plans
Teaching Personnel are seeking Teaching Assistants who have an experience and desire to work with children with on the Autistic Spectrum (ASC) within a specialist school in Leeds. The pupils in school all have an identified Special Educational Need and are supported by an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).
Initially we would appreciate your flexibility to begin short term supply work whilst we look for an ideal long term role for you. You will be an engaging, empathetic and creative individual with a passion to provide support for pupils with additional needs to access the curriculum.
Experience with SEN is essential. A Team Teach qualification or other Intervention training would be an advantage but again is not essential as we have the facility to offer training in this.
