ASC Secondary English Teacher Required in Cambridge

Exciting new career opportunities have become available to Secondary English Teachers with either mainstream or SEN experience in the Cambridge area. The school are looking to appoint a new English teacher to work with secondary students in small class sizes. The lessons will be taught in small groups and you will be responsible for working with children who have Autism Spectrum Condition and could show challenging behaviour so you must be willing to work within this environment.
The role includes:
- Being responsible for the attainment and progress of all your pupils
- Contributing to the overall intellectual, emotional and social development pupils
- Keeping up with the National Curriculum and a variety of other curriculum pathways
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be an Unqualified Teacher with previous Secondary experience
- Previous SEN experience preferably with ASC, if not you must have a desire to work in SEN.
- Enthusiastic and engaging personality

Additional qualifications such as Team Teach and Autism Awareness are desirable but not required.
