Learning Support Assistant (Adhoc Work) – Southampton and Surrounding Areas
Flexible | Term-Time Only | A Great Way to Start a Career in Education
Teaching Personnel is looking for reliable, enthusiastic individuals to join our team of Adhoc Learning Support Assistants (LSAs). This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in a wide range of schools across Central Southampton and the surrounding areas, with flexible work available during term time.
We are looking for people who have prior experience working with children in any capacity—whether in education, care, youth work, coaching, or volunteering—and who are open to working across Primary, Secondary, and Special Educational Needs (SEN) settings.
About the Role:

Flexible adhoc work, available 3–5 days per week

Supporting students one-on-one, in small groups, or in classroom settings
-
Working across a variety of school environments and age ranges
-
A great opportunity for those considering a future in education or teaching
What You’ll Need:

Some form of previous experience working with children

A positive, adaptable, and proactive attitude

Willingness to travel to schools across Southampton and nearby areas

Availability during school term time

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
