ADHD/ADD Teaching Assistant - Rochdale

Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant with an SEN background? Do you have an understanding of ADHD and ADD?

Our client school based in Rochdale are seeking a Teaching Assistant to join their SEN department, to support one of their students that has ADHD. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a hard working and well respected SEN department at an Ofsted graded 'Good' school.

  • Full time post until the end of the academic year
  • Starting from February 2019
  • Potential for the role to continue into the new academic year

  • Earn up to £350 per week, paid weekly in arrears

Teaching Personnel are working with one of our client schools based in the Whitworth area of Rochdale. On their latest inspection they were again rated by Ofsted as 'Good', with Ofsted stating that there is a "relentless drive to embed a culture of high aspirations and expectations throughout the school".

Our client school require an individual with experience of dealing with young people with ADHD/ADD to support a student on a 1:1 basis through lessons. The school want to keep the student in mainstream education, and with the help of Teaching Assistant provision hope that this will be possible. Acting as a support mechanism for the student, you will assist with classwork as well as acting as a mentor throughout all aspects of education.
