1:1 ASD Teaching Assistant | SEN Teaching Assistant |Cambridge

Teaching Personnel are working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Central Cambridge as a 1:1 Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Teaching Assistant for a year 2 pupil.
- 1:1 ASD Teaching Assistant position located in Central Cambridge
- £60 - £75 per day
- Long Term, Full-Time 1:1 ASD Teaching Assistant position starting September
- A Welcoming one Form Primary School look
The successful 1:1 ASD Teaching Assistant will need:
- Strong communication skills
- Commitment to the care and progression of children with additional needs
- Some professional or personal (e.g. family) experience with children with SEN (Autism)
- The ability to form effective relationships with pupils, parents and staff.
- The ability to stay calm in potentially difficult situations and not be phased by challenging situations.
This 1:1 ASD Teaching Assistant role involves you supporting the progress of a KS1 child who has a statement of Autism Spectrum Disorder. You will be supporting the pupil 1:1 during class time as well as during break and lunches to ensure academic and social development.
