A central Manchester primary school, M20, are recruiting a Year 6 Teaching Assistant to start after half term. The successful applicant will have experience working in KS2, ideally Year 6, with a desire to develop their career in a ‘GOOD’ Primary School. The post is to begin after October half term and will run for 1 term with the possibility for extension.
The successful candidate will be expected to help raise the attainment of lower ability pupils in Year 6. You will be working alongside the Year 6 teacher to aid progression and help raise levels in all core subject areas. This larger than average primary school prides itself on ‘making learning irresistible’ and would be an amazing place to gain further experience working in KS2.
The ideal candidate will have,
• A clear understanding of the Year 6 curriculum
• Experience working with in KS2
• Experience working with groups and aiding learning 1:1
This ‘GOOD’ central Manchester school can offer support from an ‘OUTSTANDING’ management and leadership team and boasts children who show good levels of progression.
