The Role: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary SEN Teacher to join our team. As a Primary SEN Teacher, you will have the opportunity to make a profound impact on the lives of our students, delivering high-quality education tailored to individual needs. You will work collaboratively with a supportive team of professionals to create engaging and inclusive learning experiences that inspire and empower our students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver differentiated lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students with SEN.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with the SENCO and other professionals.
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and respected.
- Utilize a variety of teaching strategies and resources to engage students and promote academic progress.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support as needed.
- Collaborate with parents, carers, and external agencies to ensure a holistic approach to student support and development.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and participate in regular meetings and reviews.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching primary-aged students with SEN.
- A deep understanding of SEN teaching methodologies and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- A passion for inclusive education and a commitment to meeting the diverse needs of every child.
- Resilience, patience, and empathy in working with students with complex needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
