Teaching Personnel are recruiting for a Year 6 General Teaching Assistant to work on a full time basis to start as soon as possible.
The role lasts until the end of the year and there is the possible flexibility of a permanent contract on offer for the right candidate, giving both parties the option of a probationary period.
All staff work very hard at this school to build and maintain superb working relationships with children and parents to ensure that our children achieve and attain all that they are capable of. The school is situated in Knaresborough and benefits from excellent links to a number of other schools .
The Teaching Assistant should have knowledge and understanding of:
• the needs of young children;
• child development and the ways in which children learn;
• the roles played by various adults in a child’s education;
• behaviour management strategies;
The school is seeking to appoint an experienced Teaching Assistant who is an English Graduate and is looking to make a difference, which is both creative and hardworking and willing to go the extra mile to ensure the pupils receive the best education possible.
