- ‘Challenging’ inner city school- Behaviour Management
An experienced Head teacher at a larger than average inner-city Blackburn Primary School has approached Teaching Personnel in order to recruit an ‘Outstanding’ KS2 practitioner. The role will be to start in January and will run until at least Easter 2017, this is the minimum expectation. The role will then be advertised via the local council in order to appoint on a school contract.
The Head teacher has stated that she would like to appoint ‘an outstanding classroom practitioner’, someone who can ‘hit the ground running and raise standards in school’. She also suggested that ‘the children come from challenging backgrounds and so the school policy will need to be implemented consistently’.
The school is one of the largest within the Blackburn area, and one which has a number of children from Indian and Pakistani backgrounds. With this, there are a number of language barriers which also add to the challenge within school.
In terms of location, the school is situated in the busy city of Blackburn with good travel links-including train, bus and car.
If you are interested in the above roles, then please do not hesitate to contact me in the office on 01772 842155. It would also be a good idea to send over an up to date CV for me to consider for the role.
