Experienced Teaching Assistant Required
Location: Woking, Surrey
Salary: Experience dependant
Start Date: ASAP
The Role:
Teaching Personnel is looking for a motivated and dedicated Teaching Assistant to work across a mainstream primary school within the Woking area. The ideal educator would have experience working either 1-1 or within small groups of students of primary age. The educator would be primarily working directly with a yr4 male student diagnosed with ASD. The child in question has several behavioural challenges and struggles to maintain focus on work. Prior experience working with SEN students is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities:
-Providing 1:1 support to a student with additional learning needs.
-Helping to manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment.
-Supporting the student in completing assigned work and encouraging independent learning.
-Monitoring student progress and reporting any concerns to the class teacher.
Key Requirements:
-Passion for education and helping students succeed.
-Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with young people.
-Patience, empathy, and a positive approach to supporting students.
-Previous experience working with children or in an educational setting is important
-A willingness to learn and develop new skills (training can be provided).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
