Primary Teacher – Supply, Long-Term & Permanent Opportunities
Location: S18 and surrounding areas
Agency: Teaching Personnel
Salary: Competitive daily rates (paid weekly)
Contract Types: Day-to-day supply, short-term, long-term and permanent roles
Start Date: Immediate and ongoing starts available

About the Role
Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a range of primary schools across the S18 postcode and surrounding areas to recruit committed and high-quality Primary Teachers. We are seeking teachers for a variety of roles across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, with opportunities to suit both flexible supply availability and those seeking longer-term or permanent positions.

These roles offer the chance to work in diverse school settings, supporting pupils’ academic progress, personal development and wellbeing, while contributing positively to whole-school life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum
  • Create a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment
  • Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of pupils with varying abilities and learning styles
  • Assess, monitor and record pupil progress effectively
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, SEN staff and senior leaders
  • Uphold school policies, safeguarding procedures and professional standards

Candidate Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Recent experience teaching within UK primary schools (EYFS, KS1 or KS2)
  • Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum and effective classroom practice
  • Confident behaviour management and strong communication skills
  • A professional, reliable and adaptable approach to teaching
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
  • Right to work in the UK

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
