Year 5 SEN Teaching Assistant – Immediate Start
Location: Timperley
Contract: Full-Time, Immediate Start – Ongoing for the Academic Year

Teaching Personnel is currently supporting a School in Timperley, who are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to work with a Year 5 pupil requiring additional support. This is a full-time role, starting immediately, and continuing for the remainder of the academic year.

Role Overview:

  • Provide 1:1 support for a Year 5 pupil with special educational needs.
  • Assist with classroom activities, ensuring the pupil is engaged and supported.
  • Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement tailored learning strategies.
  • Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Monitor progress and provide feedback to staff and parents.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience working with children with SEN, particularly in a KS2 setting.
  • Patient, empathetic, and adaptable to individual needs.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
