Year 4 SEN Teaching Assistant

This is a full time role (8.30am-3.30pm) commencing in September until October half term, with the possibility of continuing after.

A Primary school in Manchester are looking for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their KS2 team. The school is rated “good” by OFSTED Framework and is a three-form primary school wanting someone who is confident and able to contribute to the quality service this school provides.

This role is to support is to support a child on a 1 to 1 basis who has complex needs. The child has autism and needs someone who is nurturing and able to overcome barriers to develop rapport with children. The role may also involve general support to the rest of the class depending on the child’s needs that day.

The school are looking for someone who is:

• Familiar with year 4 national curriculum
• Nurturing and bale to build great rapport
• Experience working with SEN children
• Preferred experience within a classroom setting

The school have a positive atmosphere ensuring the wellbeing of their students are catered to by friendly and supportive staff. The team are comprised of experience and junior, providing an atmosphere based on knowledge and creativity.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
