Job description

Teaching Personnel are looking for a caring and committed SEND Teaching Assistant to join a friendly mainstream primary school this spring term. You’ll be based in the school’s Inclusion Hub, supporting pupils with additional needs to build confidence, independence and a love of learning.

The Role:

  • Support pupils 1:1 and in small groups within the Hub

  • Help pupils with ASD, ADHD, SEMH and speech/language needs

  • Work closely with teachers and the SENCO to deliver tailored learning and care

  • Encourage positive behaviour and engagement in learning

About You:

  • Experience supporting children with SEND (preferably in a primary setting)

  • Calm, patient and adaptable approach

  • Confident working as part of a supportive team

  • Relevant TA qualification or strong classroom experience

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
