Key Stage 2 Teacher needed for an Ofsted graded "Good" Roman Catholic school in Bury.

Year 3 teacher for maternity cover starting in February in Bury.

Are you a qualified primary school teacher with experience in year 3 looking for work this academic year? Would you be interested in teaching within the KS2 department at a "Good" Roman Catholic primary school in Bury?

Due to the maternity leave of a current teacher in the Key Stage 2 department, the need has arisen for a year 3 teacher to join a supportive team starting in November for the rest of the academic year. This is a full time post. The potential year 3 teacher will benefit from working in an extremely supportive working environment. The senior leadership team have a clear vision for the school to strive for success now and for the future.

The school are looking for a year 3 teacher with/ who is:-

- Understanding and knowledge of the curriculum and experience working in Key Stage 2

- Enthusiastic and is committed to high standards, has high expectations of behaviour

- Passionate about teaching in KS2 raising pupil potential and achievement

- Competitive rate of pay £22,467-£32,831 dependent on experience

- NQT's also encouraged to apply.

Located in Bury with good transport links, this primary school is a busy, friendly and popular school with a warm and welcoming ethos. They have high expectations and its caring ethos both encourages and promotes an environment where pupils can achieve their best. Being a practising Catholic is a preference but not essential. Holding the Catholic Certificate of Religious Studies or experience working in a Catholic schools would also be of benefit. If you are neither the school would at least expect the teacher to uphold the Catholic ethos.

Teaching Personnel have a partnership with the Salford Diocese so do have upcoming training with the Diocese to upskill teachers on working in Roman Catholic Schools.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
