Job description

Teaching Personnel are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Primary PPA Teacher to join a large, well‑established primary school in the Wythenshawe area. This full‑time role will begin after the Easter break and will continue for the remainder of the academic year.

The school is a thriving 4‑form entry primary, rated Good by Ofsted, with a strong reputation for its inclusive ethos, supportive leadership and high expectations for both staff and pupils. The school places a strong emphasis on teamwork, collaboration and ensuring consistency across year groups, making it an excellent environment for a confident and professional practitioner.

The Role

You will be responsible for covering PPA time across the KS2 department, delivering high‑quality lessons that follow the school’s planning and curriculum expectations. In addition to planned PPA cover, you will also provide teaching support during staff absences as required. Flexibility, confidence and strong classroom management are key to success in this position, as you will be teaching a range of classes across Years 3–6.

The role is ideal for teachers who enjoy variety in their week and who are comfortable adapting their teaching to different classes and learning needs. You will be well supported by the wider teaching team and provided with clear guidance, resources and routines to ensure consistency across the key stage.

  • Ability to deliver high‑quality teaching across a range of classes
  • Availability full time from after Easter until July
