Location: Wythenshawe
Start Date: September
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm

Teaching Personnel is proud to be partnering with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Wythenshawe, currently seeking a dedicated Year 2 Teacher to join their team from September.

The Role

As a Year 2 Teacher, you will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, well-differentiated lessons tailored to KS1 learners
  • Assess and track pupil progress, providing targeted support and meaningful feedback
  • Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and maintain high standards
  • Commit to continuous professional development and reflective practice

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a teacher who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Has experience teaching Year 2 or within Key Stage 1
  • Demonstrates strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Can effectively adapt teaching to meet a range of learning needs
  • Has a solid understanding of the National Curriculum and effective teaching methods
  • Communicates confidently and works well as part of a team
  • Is comfortable using technology to enhance learning
