Year 2 Teacher – Full-Time Role in Wythenshawe (Starting March)

Teaching Personnel is proud to be partnering with a warm, inclusive primary school in Wythenshawe as they seek a committed and enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher. This full-time position (8:30am–3:30pm) begins in March and is ideal for a teacher passionate about making a meaningful difference in pupils’ progress and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons for Year 2 pupils
  • Assess and monitor progress, giving constructive feedback and targeted support
  • Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
  • Work closely with colleagues to share best practice and drive high-quality teaching
  • Take part in ongoing professional development and reflective practice

Candidate Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Year 2 or working within Key Stage 1
  • Strong behaviour management and organisational skills
  • Ability to adapt lessons to meet diverse learning needs
  • Solid understanding of the national curriculum and effective teaching strategies
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Confidence in using technology to enhance teaching and learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
