Year 2 Teacher – Full-Time Position in Wythenshawe (Starting January)

Teaching Personnel is delighted to be supporting a warm, inclusive primary school in Wythenshawe in their search for a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher. This full-time role (8:30am–3:30pm) begins in January and is perfect for someone eager to make a meaningful impact on pupils’ learning and development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons for Year 2 pupils
  • Monitor and assess progress, providing clear feedback and tailored support
  • Create an inclusive, encouraging, and well-managed classroom environment
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to share ideas and effective practices
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and reflective teaching

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Year 2 or within Key Stage 1
  • Strong behaviour management and organisational skills
  • Ability to differentiate lessons to meet varied learning needs
  • Good knowledge of the national curriculum and effective teaching strategies
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Confidence using technology to support teaching and learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
