Year 2 Teacher Opportunity – Join a Supportive and Inclusive School in Wythenshawe (September 2025 Start)

Teaching Personnel is proud to be partnering with a vibrant, inclusive primary school in Wythenshawe, currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 2 Teacher to join their team from September 2025. About the Role:

We’re looking for a dynamic and motivated educator who brings creativity, enthusiasm, and a pupil-centred approach to teaching Year 2. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking school with a strong focus on inclusion, wellbeing, and academic excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons for Year 2 pupils
  • Monitor and assess progress, providing meaningful feedback to support development
  • Foster a supportive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and curriculum delivery
  • Engage in ongoing professional learning and contribute to school life

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching in Key Stage 1 (Year 2 experience desirable)
  • Strong behaviour management and classroom organisation skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to adapt teaching to suit a variety of learning needs
  • Confidence in using technology to support teaching and learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
