Teaching Personnel are working with a school in Shaftesbury, seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their team.

The school is a small Infant School in Shaftesbury, with average levels of SEN.

This is a part time role, supporting SEN on a 1:1 basis.

The successful candidate will

• Have experience working with SEN

• Have an understanding of Makaton and Behaviour Management

• Have a positive, nurturing approach

• Have experience in a KS1 setting.

This is a part time position, starting ASAP, fixed term for the academic year.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
