Position: Long-Term Cover Supervisor
Location: Tameside Area
School: Reputable school in the Tameside area is seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to join their team as a long-term cover supervisor.
Duration: Long-term position with the possibility of extension
Start Date: Immediate start
Salary: Competitive, based on experience and qualifications
Responsibilities:
- Supervise students in the absence of the regular teacher
- Manage classroom behavior and ensure a positive learning environment
- Deliver pre-prepared lessons across various subjects
- Support students with their learning and provide assistance when needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children or young adults is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage a classroom effectively
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a high school diploma; higher education qualifications are advantageous
- Teaching assistant or cover supervisor experience is desirable but not essential
