Do you want the opportunity to secure yourself a longer term/permanent position within Abingdon OX14 - Independent Mainstream Primary School !

Role details:

A mainstream school based in Abingdon, (OX14) are looking for a Primary Teacher to teach a Year 1 class - Maternity cover starting in September.

The school is a vibrant, inclusive school and is on a journey towards excellence. The school has a very forward thinking visionary headteacher who has strong leadership skills and is looking for someone to join his enthusiastic and passionate team.

The school is a 'can do' school, and it is inspirational working in partnership with dedicated teachers, parents and pupils to ensure they bring out the best in every child so they can embrace life and learning with confidence and enthusiasm.

The role is full-time; 5 days per week.

They are looking for a teacher who is:

  • committed to raising standards by providing high quality learning experiences for all children
  • highly motivated, organised, enthusiastic and astute teacher
  • able to provide creative, enriching learning opportunities for our children
  • have in-depth knowledge of the primary curriculum

We can offer you:

  • a highly motivated and dedicated team of teaching and support staff embracing school improvement
  • weekly PPA time with a teacher in the same KS group
  • opportunities for professional development through collaboration with other trust schools as well as through in-school training

Requirements:

  • UK QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
  • Experience Teaching Key Stage 2.
  • Enthusiasm, energy and flexibility
  • High expectations and a commitment to raising attainment and achievement
  • Strong interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Competitive Pay : (£120 to £180) per day
  • DBS
