Job description
Supply Secondary English Teacher, Burgess Hill / Haywards Heath
Rate: £120–£160/day (or more depending on experience)
Contract: Long-term supply, day to day opportunities, permanent
Location: Secondary schools in Burgess Hill / Haywards Heath
Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver English lessons across KS3 and KS4

Mark and assess student work, provide feedback, monitor progress

Collaborate with the English department on curriculum development
-
Support whole-school literacy initiatives
-
Manage classroom behaviour effectively and maintain a positive learning climate

Cover for teacher absence while preserving continuity of learning
Requirements / Advantages:

QTS or equivalent teaching qualification

Enhanced Child-Only DBS required
-
Driving licence very beneficial (allows working across multiple local schools)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
