Welsh Speaking Classroom Supervisor
Location: Cardiff, South Wales
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm (No Weekends!)
Contract: Full-Time and part-time opportunities
Start date: September the 1st

Teaching Personnel is recruiting Welsh-speaking Classroom Supervisor to support secondary schools in the Cardiff area. All lesson materials are provided – your role is to deliver and supervise learning in a calm, engaging environment.
✅ What You’ll Be Doing:
- Lead and supervise classes when the teacher is absent.
- Deliver pre-prepared lessons – no planning or qualifications needed!
- Keep pupils focused and on task throughout the day.
- Promote good behaviour and support positive learning outcomes.
- Offer assistance to pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN) as required.
- Maintain a safe, tidy and well-organised classroom.
- Provide feedback to teaching staff about the lesson or any issues.
We’re Looking For:
- Fluent Welsh speaker (essential).
- Confident communicator with a calm, approachable attitude.
- Good classroom or group management skills.
- Adaptable and dependable with a genuine passion for education.
- Awareness of safeguarding and child protection (full training provided).

- Have coaching, tutoring, mentoring, or youth work experience.
- Are Welsh-speaking students or graduates looking for flexible work.

What You Need:
- Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (we can support you with this).
- EWC (Education Workforce Council) registration – guidance provided.
- Two professional references.
- Ability to travel to schools in the Cardiff area.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
