Location: Cardiff, South Wales

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm (No Weekends!)

Contract: Full-Time and part-time opportunities

Teaching Personnel is recruiting Welsh-speaking Classroom Supervisor to support secondary schools in the Cardiff area. All lesson materials are provided – your role is to deliver and supervise learning in a calm, engaging environment.

✅ What You’ll Be Doing:

• Lead and supervise classes when the teacher is absent.
• Deliver pre-prepared lessons – no planning or qualifications needed!
• Keep pupils focused and on task throughout the day.
• Promote good behaviour and support positive learning outcomes.
• Offer assistance to pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN) as required.
• Maintain a safe, tidy and well-organised classroom.
• Provide feedback to teaching staff about the lesson or any issues.

We’re Looking For:

• Fluent Welsh speaker (essential).
• Confident communicator with a calm, approachable attitude.
• Good classroom or group management skills.
• Adaptable and dependable with a genuine passion for education.
• Awareness of safeguarding and child protection (full training provided).

What You Need:

• Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (we can support you with this).
• EWC (Education Workforce Council) registration – guidance provided.
• Two professional references.
• Ability to travel to schools in the Cardiff area.
