Are you an ambitious, outgoing and goal-oriented graduate from Core Subject/Education/PGCE disciplines? Or are you someone with a keen interest in the Primary education sector looking for your first position on the Recruitment Consultant Career Ladder?

Teaching Personnel, the UK's largest education recruitment company, is expanding in our Lancashire office. We are looking to hire a Trainee Education Recruitment Consultant to join our Primary team of talented Education Recruitment Consultants and supportive Managers who are always striving for excellence.

This is a full-time permanent position starting as soon as possible.

Due to consistent growth in our Lancashire office, the Primary team are expanding. This position has the potential for development and progression, however, it will challenge you, the daily routine is fast paced and you'll be working to tight deadlines and targets.

You will:

  • Make a high volume of sales and business development calls to schools across your local region
  • Source and recruit quality teachers and support staff and carry out interviews
  • Have regular face-to-face client visits to build relationships with key decision makers in schools in order to successfully service your given client schools
  • Create quality marketing and advertising

To be a successful Education Recruitment Consultant, you need to be outgoing, an excellent communicator and extremely organised. Ideally, you will have previous sales experience or knowledge of the education sector, however this is not essential. Additionally, you will need to have a valid full UK Driving License and access to a vehicle (we will also consider applicants who are currently learning to drive).

Teaching Personnel review performance regularly and you can qualify for promotions 4 times per year. We have a specific career path for Education Recruitment Consultants to progress and become Branch Managers. Our business is organic and almost all management started their career at Teaching Personnel as a Trainee Education Recruitment Consultant.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
